Athena And Daisuke's Santa Barbara County Wedding
Rain is not something we get often in California so the days leading up to the wedding started to cause some worry that we might have some rain on their wedding day. That morning I opened the window in my nearby Solvang hotel room to see the sun peek through the clouds for this first time in days.
The Santa Ynez Inn is located in the hills of Santa Barbara wine country, so as you can imagine a big blue sky scattered with white clouds over the landscape was GORGEOUS! The bride got ready in the most indulgent and luxurious hotel room I've been in! Definitely felt glamorous- even while I was there to photograph it!
My favorite parts of the day were being a witness to the tender loving moments the family shared together and the super fun afterparty hitting the town in Solvang. These are always the moments I love photographing because looking back they always mean the most and have a way of transporting you back to that moment! It's my reason for becoming a photographer.
Also, I did participate in karaoke at the Calilove Winebar during the after party, I did sing Fall Out Boy and YES it did hurt everyone's ears HAHAH.
